The Research Secretariat's mission is to support scientific research and knowledge transfer that will contribute to:
- Improving health and safety in B.C. workplaces
- Fostering successful rehabilitation and return-to-work of injured workers
- Ensuring fair compensation for workers suffering injury or illness on the job
The Research Secretariat provides research funding for occupational health, safety, and worker compensation research through its annual research competition.
